Etisbew one of the Co-Sponsor
of the ColdFusion India User Group (CFUG) hosted the latest User
Group meet at its premises on the 26th February 2008.
The main agenda of the meeting was to bring the Cold Fusion user
community within Hyderabad onto one platform and discuss a few things
related to the Cold Fusion developments, whats happening new with
Adobe, discuss activities that can be done as part of the User Group
in Hyderabad etc.
We had a pretty good meeting with about 25 people within the Cold
Fusion community participating in the meeting. We had few developers
from Etisbew, few from fellow companies and couple of Inquisitive
users who attended the meeting. As part of the meeting, we aired
the video of Kevin Lynch, CTO of Adobe giving us few insights on
how the whole development of the AIR platform happened and what
can be done with AIR
for the world.
We also had a technical session on Error Handling with ColdFusion
by our Senior ColdFusion Architect who spent a good time clearing
some questions from the attendees.
Of course we had some give aways from Adobe that were distributed
to the attendees and last not but not the least we had a surprise
lucky draw for a free Adobe Flex Professional 3.
It was fun being part of it and we are looking forward to a bigger
event soon. |
